79. First foot entrant, Laura McDonough finished at 13:54!

78. (around 11:15): Andrew Balser and Anna Edmonds are en route to McCay Creek trailhead and will then be driven to the Wickersham trail head, expected to arrive sometime this afternoon.

77. Everyone but the Red Lantern has now checked into CP4. Everyone checked out except Chris Wyatt.

76. Laura McDonough has taken the lead in the foot race over Ronni Grapenthin (Laura left CP4 at 07:54, Ronni left at 09:22)

30. 22:00 Finishers Kevin Breitenbach and Rob Whitney describe trail conditions as more challenging this year than in past years. Snow in the Cache Mountain Divide was up to 6 inches deep, overflow at Icelakes was up to knee deep (though ridable with fresh snow on top), and trails were in general narrower than past years and slightly concave.

12. 16:30 - Wind is picking up out on the racecourse. Snowy and windy at the Ice Lakes (just before Checkpoint 3) - lots of racers already through there

11. First male runner Ronni Grapenthin checked out of Checkpoint 1 at 11.58 and first female runner Laura McDonough checked out at 12.08

10. Race leaders out of Checkpoint 2: Tim Berntson and Kevin Breitenbach (male bikers); Rob Whitney (male skier - 17 mins behind); Janice Tower (female biker); Kate Arduse (female skier)

9. Conditions at pass - lightly snowing; 2-3 inches fresh snow as of 15:08

8. Race Leaders just passed Cache Mountain Divide as of 14:20

7. No. 13, Rocky Reifenstuhl has scratched from the race as of 1:06.

6. Light snow at Cache Mountain, trail conditions are good, and it looks to be snowing hard at the pass.

5. Report from CP2 Cache Mountain that 3 bikers have gone through as of 12:20.

4. Kevin Breitenbach is in lead for the bikers (9:53 at CP1), with Rob Whitney in the lead for skiers (9:57 at CP1).

3. First 7 racers reached Checkpoint 1 between 9:53 and 10:01 AM.
